SuperMall of the Great Northwest is an indoor hybrid mall that originally opened in 1995 as the Northwest's largest outlet mall located in Auburn, Washington. The original anchors included Nordstrom Rack, Bed Bath and Beyond, Gart Sports, Burlington Coat Factory, Marshalls, and Incredible Universe.
Major success did not materialize as hoped [1] but today, the mall features anchors Sam's Club (which replaced Incredible Universe), Old Navy, Nordstrom Rack, Bed Bath and Beyond, Burlington Coat Factory, Sports Authority, and Vision Quest Sports & Ftiness. The mall is no longer exclusively an outlet mall, but has transformed into a hybrid mall featuring outlet, discount and traditional retailers such as Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, Zumiez, rue21, Gap Outlet, Seattle's Best Coffee, Ann Taylor Factory Store, Verizon Wireless, Wilson's Leather Outlet, Kay Jewelers Outlet, and Toys R Us Express.

New Development

New development has occurred in and around the mall since the mid 2000s, with the addition of several strip malls and restaurants. This culminated in 2010 with the opening of a new Super Wal-Mart[2]
